Photography by Carrie is serious about protecting your privacy.
Your Data Your personal data is in safe hands. I only keep data relevant to your dealings with me. I use it to contact you in relation to the service you are obtaining from me. What personal information does Photography by Carrie collect and why? Photography by Carrie collects, holds and uses your personal information where it is reasonably necessary for the purposes of: providing you personalised photography services and photography products, including processing your orders or applications and dealing with requests, enquiries or complaints and other customer care related activities. I keep your information whilst my service is being carried out and then I archive your information for 2 years, after which it is destroyed. The reason I keep your information for this duration is in the case that you would like to make a further order with me. How does Photography by Carrie collect personal information? Photography by Carrie collects your personal information directly from you when an enquiry is made about one of my services, or when you provide it whilst engaging in my services. Your personal information is NEVER shared with third parties. How do I store your information? Photography by Carrie holds personal information in both hard copy and electronic forms in secure databases on secure premises, accessible only by me. Any paperwork with your information on is stored in a locked cabinet for a 1-month duration. Direct marketing Photography by Carrie holds a secure database of email address' from clients that have placed an order. I use this database to keep clients informed of promotions and offers. Clients can opt out of this database at any time. Do I store images? All Images are stored on a secure and password locked computer. Do I use your images for advertising & promotions? Being a photography business it is important for me to be able to use my work for advertising to keep my pages fresh and interesting. Your images may be used to promote my services ONLY if you give consent for me to do so. I will ask for consent after you have placed your order. Unordered images are never used.
